Can Wisconsin legislature pass the union aspect of the bill without the democrats?

Democratic state Sen. Jon Erpenbach told The Associated Press on Monday that Republicans could attempt to attach the part of the proposal taking away collective bargaining rights to an unrelated bill and pass it Tuesday.

  • That would be a suicidal move on their part. The momentum is not in their favor

  • I was just reading this....... Its time for them to just come back and take care of all of the business that they are supposed to.

If they do it in the correct way it would be what they are allowed to do.

I guess there is an alternate universe out there. Union employees are against this but most of the people in WI think it's a good idea. And they want their kids BACK IN SCHOOL! The unions may look like they have support by busing in all those protesters, but the "regular" people are not on their side. They pay 2-3 times what teachers are being asked to pay for their health care and pensions and on top of it they are paying the teachers' salaries out of their taxes.
