  • Just an ordinary day here.....only difference is I didn't need to walk to the mailbox. So I celebrated by not having to get out of my jammies, lol

  • First SO spent 40 minutes chiseling my car out from the 1.5" of ice that hit last night. Then he spent 20 more minutes trying to open my car doors. When this failed he moved on to his car and spent 20 minutes chiseling his car out of the ice. Then I took his car to my ultra sound appt, where I was almost nailed by a semi fishtailing. Then I came home and SO went to work. Since my car doors still won't open, my dad came and gave us a lift to the pediatrician's, so he could tell me DS has bronchitis. Then we came home for me to fall on the ice walking up the front steps. Now its dinner time. This day can end at any point, and never return!

  • Well I was up at the hospital all night with my son who had an emergency apendectomy, so most of today we were still at the hospital. He is sore, very tired and feeling a bit out of sorts (which is understandable) so I hope he will settle in and take a nice nap- he really needs the rest.

  • No celebration here, I got stuck in a snow drift picking my son up from school (I should have just let him stay home, it is just preschool)
