  • Within the first month. Had a miscarriage at 19.5 weeks.

I suggest waiting a little bit to try and get pregnant.

  • I had mine out in Jan, went on the BCP, then started ttc in July and was pregnant by Aug later delivering a perfect healthy boy. I did however have Subchronic Hemorrhage at week 5 and was put on bedrest until week 8 when it resolved, other than that(which was very scary) everything was perfect!

  • Umm, 7 doc had a patient that conceived within the week that she had hers out...apparently it was a happy healthy baby

  • There isn't an increase in miscarriage if you conceive right after removal. That was more likely a fluke. You can start trying immediately. We conceived the first cycle post-removal, and we have a healthy 2 year old. The only reason a doctor may say to wait a cycle is because it's easier for them to calculate your due date that way.
