Is there any cold/flu medicine 3 year olds can have?

He will be 3 next weekend and we have been sick all week. Its his first time being sick and my only child so Im kinda new to all this. Ive been giving him Childrens Tylenol every 4 hours for a couple days to break his fever, now his fever is down but he sounds so sick still. Poort thing? Any ideas/tips

  • I use Childrens Pediacare, the generic.

  • Call the pediatrician to see what s/he recommends you do.

  • Cold/cough medicine isn't recommended for children under 5. Call the pediatrician.

  • Yes the doctor confirmed there is no medicine for cold/flu for kids under 4
