  • If I include daycare costs, then my preschoolers are considerably more expensive than my teen.

  • The older they get the more expensive they get. Their clothes get more expensive, their tastes get more expensive (adding to the cost of clothes), the "toys" they want are more expensive (ipods and computers). We've barely spent anything in the 7 months for our newest son (except for formula and diapers) but we've had to replace shoes twice for our older kids, buy them whole new wardrobes because they outgrew/destroyed all their stuff).
My oldest is only 10 but she no longer has much interest in toys so she wants games for her DS and has been whining about a laptop for years (not gonna happen).

  • I would say teens but not for the reasons stated above since my teen pays for his clothes, cell phone, car, insurance, etc. but I'm talking about COLLEGE COSTS!
