  • ~*Yes*~... 8am-11:20am... sucks but thankfully my son knows all he needs to and we only sent him for socialization... we push education in our home!

  • No. They have always had full day. I don't think there are any schools in my area that has half day kindergarten.

  • Our district has full day, but when my boys were that age I only sent them until lunch. The teachers worked with me and they are straight A students now...years later. They had each just turned 5, to young to be gone all day.

  • The public school here actually added some time for the kindergarten kids. According to the website last year they went 2 full days a week and EVERY OTHER Wednesday they went 1/2 day (all elementary schools have 1/2 days on Wed. in our town and the next one over). This year they go 2 full days and EVERY Wed (1/2 day). So they get the same amount of time in school as kids going 5 half days but are only in class for 2 1/2 days a week. No idea why they do it that way.
