Suggestion regarding votes/thumbs up.....

I'm usually in this section on my iPhone and it's VERY easy to hit the down button on accident. One solution would be to add a pop up asking if we really want to vote down (similar to the best answer pop up).

  • I don't see where she mentioned points matter. I agree with your suggestion. I have voted someone up, and down when I didn't want to by mistake. It's also not the anons who are assholes.

  • If you hit the wrong button by accident, you could say that in a reply. I've seen that on here several times, and I think that's a good way to handle it.

  • I fail to see how, or why it actually matters.

Because sometimes it works the other way, and while you're trying to scroll past some racist homophobe PoS, you accidentally click the vote up button and it looks like you agree with them. I'd rather seem them optimize the Q&A section for phones CM mobile so all of the features are optimized. The drop downs to select categories at the top are a pita to use on a phone, too.

  • It matters because some people take it personally when their replies are voted down. It's also very annoying to hit the down vote on accident when the reply was a great answer. It's just frustrating and it would be an easy fix.
