  • almost entirely scratch. Frozen has too many chemicals, is expensive and tastes bad. I reserve frozen for ocasional use only. (and yes, I work full-time outside the home).

  • Maybe everyone one in a while will we have a frozen meal, otherwise it's all from scratch.

  • By the way, stay at home moms can be out of the house and just as busy as working moms. Sure there are days we are home all day, but they are few and far between for me. Often I am out of the home just as much of the day as you are working volunteering at my childrens school, doing things outside the home with my three year old, etc.

  • By frozen you mean premade meals that I purchased frozen? Zero
    The crockpot is your friend, along with prepping meals on the weekends.

  • There are times I'll do frozen types of dinners all week, but usually always something from scratch goes with them.. I am a wahm running my own business, and I love to bake and cook. Realistically though unless I do my own frozen dinners (which I am working on) there are days that I just don't have time nor the want to be in front of the stove from 3 to 5 when I have been there all day. We may have those cheap Salisbury steak things (spiced a bit) with mashed potatoes and biscuits one night and then the next night I'll make potato balls and hot dogs. I have just learned how to make my own frozen waffles/pancakes (without them being nasty when reheated) and homemade corn dogs....I don't see anything wrong with prepackage frozen meals...

  • Maybe once every 2 months or so we have a frozen store bought meal. Now I do make large batches of meals on the weekends and freeze them and then just pop them in the oven when we are in a crunch and my crock pot is ALWAYS on my counter because it gets used about every other day. To me the prepackaged stuff is full of chemicals and also way more expensive then homemade

  • We have frozen pizza occasionally. The only frozen dinners I make is ones that were pre-made/leftovers from home cooked meals.
