How do you make brown gravy from scratch? lol

I'm almost embarressed to ask! LOL
I know its simple..I just can't get it down just right! I can make sausage gravy no prob but when it comes to briwn gravy...forget it!
I need some advice!
I'm making a dish with cube steak that needs brown gravy poured over top and smothered with green peppers, onions and mushrooms..so I need to make a large amount of the gravy.
Thankyou!! :)

  • I take the grease from the pan ,add flour and brown the flour(tlb spoon at a time),its called getting your rue ready.next i use pet milk in the can ,add half water get the rue good and hot and pour it in.Stir it until it gets to desired thickness,it thickens as it cools.Believe me i have made concrete gravy many times in the past but this turns out great every time good luck.
