SAHMS How are you prepping your Three year old for school?

I just started making a power point, I just became a sahm again haha.. She was in daycare where they were doing all kinds of educational crap and i lack a lot of those skills..we plan on buying baby can read stuff, and number stuff but for now I am setting up power points of numbers and the abcs?
xD and my ipod has some edcuational abc game on it wootwoot..

  • we are working on abc's, numbers, colors, shapes, and behavior. my ds is a very hyper child lol. he's already potty trained, just need to work on being able to go by him self.

  • We have a write-on wipe-off book where they can practice writing letters. We also do alot of phonics throughout the day, so that the sounds of the letters will come easily.
    We practice counting, addition and subtraction.
    And, we do alot of science reading . . . human anatomy, animals, dinosaurs, world atlas.
    Mind you, my oldest is 4, and I am sure she doesn't understand all of it, but at least when it is mentioned in school, she will have a familiarity.

  • 'm still trying to finish potty train my son. I let him practice everyday with his counting and alphabet stuff. He's really smart, so I'm not worried so much.

  • oh and we are on the road so I have no clue if there are even teacher stores around... and I would be intimidated by going into one.. I think I'm more of a hobby store kind of person :) they seem to have everything

  • I duno about "prepping" but I teach my son thngs anyway-if hes going to preschool or not. I guess he will be ready if i enroll him nxt fall. He just turned 3 today
