  • Yep, I'm happy where I am....and even if asked this about my past... I would do everything the same, even the stuff I'm not happy about as an adult.

  • If I knew he was hardworking, loving husband, a great father, a wonderful imaginative lover... HECK YEAH! I am so thankful I caught him before someone else did!

  • Am I factoring in his family? I love my husband... we've been together for a very long time (married for twelve years, a couple for a good five or six years before that.) I can't picture not being with him. However, I severely underestimated how hard the long term issues were going to be with his family. When we got married, I honestly thought this would get better, that they would accept me in time, that having kids would make them come around, etc. Instead things with the family are probably worse than they were when we got married. I don't know if I would go into that again knowing now what I know. The only saving grace is that we don't see his family very often and he is not very close to them. If we saw them frequently or he cared more about what they thought, it would have caused serious marital issues for us. And their issues with me come down to race and culture- it's not something I can 'fix.'
