  • It sure is..political correctness and all the feelings of entitlement have divided this country and made it so much less than it was.

  • Yes I think so. The spending is way out of control & people feel entitled~ that's 2 major problems. Our priorities are off....we need to get back to the basics and get alot of things under control again.

  • Libya is out of control. The US? No. Not by a long shot. It's gotten LOUDER, certainly. And the volume has made people shut things out. Some people have become more stubborn about not seeing other points of view, and that's a loss for them because NO one philosophy or political stance has ALL the answers. There's truth in conservatism AND in liberalism, but the wildly partisan cannot see that.

  • Out of control, I'm not so sure ~ should there be reforms, yes. Is it possible to head in the right direction? I believe so.

  • No. Our country is going through a period of adjustment. Make sure your representatives know how you want them to vote so they know your wishes. It doesn't mean you will get all you want, but at least you had a voice. The loud voices you hear and see right now are coming across like spoiled children that don't like to be told no. I think a better interpretation is that these people have enjoyed a perk. That perk is coming to an end. They don't want that. They are trying to keep their perk. It can't happen, but they get to have a voice. It is too bad that if they keep their perk others are hurt. It will be ok. This perk is just a luxury. Many of us already pay what they are going to have to pay. It doesn't hurt one single bit.

  • No, it is not out of control, whatever that is intended to mean . Not like Libya . Belgium has not had a government for months and they seem to be doing OK. No riots on the streets , no people starving to death and so on . The US is OK , don't be so fearful and stop taking what you hear on radio or TV as God's truth and wisdom . It is anything but.
