Is it still ok to eat?

I bought a box of meat on January 28th which contained several cuts of steaks. I put a steak in the fridge yesterday afternoon to thaw out. The meat that I bought It's been in the freezer for almost a month. Is it still ok to eat?

  • Over time the quality may deteriorate, but freezers will keep food safe almost indefinitely. The recommended storage time for steaks is anywhere from 4-12 months.
