Did you know that the DHA in Formula comes from fermented microalgae?

I had no idea about this, I wish I was still breastfeeding!!! :(, is there an organic formula out there that doesn't have this?

  • Yes, I knew that. I don't have a problem with it. That's the source of DHA, if you want one without it look for one without added Omega-3s.

  • Did you know lots of good things come from algae/mold? Penicillin for example

CraftingMama is right though, if you want a formula without DHA then look for formula's without OMega-3s

  • Organic formula is a joke, don't buy into it. Anything made in a factory is going to contain stuff you don't want your family to have.

  • Penacilin comes from MOLD too... but it'll clear up an infection

Shouldn't be scare away from bottle feeding over something that is stated on CM, is it in JAMA, or another reliable medical source?
