Am I wrong for being a little peeved that my son's friends mother invited him over to my house?

  • So the mom invited her own kid to your house? No, you're not wrong - next time when she invites her kid over let her know you have plans - even if you don't it will keep you from being an unpaid babysitter.

  • OMG, I know this mother that does the same thing to ME...it makes me absolutely FURIOUS. My kid doesn't much like her kid nor do I much like her kid. I cannot believe she does this and she does it over and over and over again. Next time, I think I may have to just scream!

  • It's very tacky to invite yourself somewhere. She's teaching this to her son. I'd be annoyed too.
