  • Our pug, Pochantas, is overweight, 3/4 blind, 3/4 deaf and 18 years old. We love her.
She got fat and old when her daughter died a year and a half ago.

  • My uncle does. He has a Rott named Holly. We found her as a puppy. Someone had docked her tail wrong so we saved her and gave her to my uncle. he spoils his dogs so much. She's huge now and I call her the family baby hippo but she is such a sweetheart.

  • I ave had overweight animals, yes. I have one at the moment that was almost 17 ibs ans now down to 13(she has been on a diet) I bottle raised her and her siblings and she was not thriving in the beginning and almost died. The vet believes in her case that her weight issue has to do with that because Penny is always at the food bowl. I had one cat that was overweight at 12 pounds but held steady. I adopted a dog that was 30 pounds over weight and had a torn cruciate because of his weight. His owners got rid of him because of the injury. Generally though my pets are at their ideal weight.

  • My dog has a lot of extra face skin, it's not common for his breed but it looks really silly and our other dog uses the skin to pull on when they wrestle. Face handles!

  • Uuugghh! I hate fat little dogs...they look so goofy.

I have an english bulldog/pug mix who's beefy but in excellent shape, and a boston terrier who is also in excellent shape.
