Anyone have tips on moving with a LO?

  • Get their bedroom set up first, the day you move in, so it is safe and familiar with them.....just like it was before. So that means knowing where their boxes are and that they are accessible to get things set up.

  • We did what 2BlondeBabies said. When we moved ds was 13 months. We painted his room the same exact color, put the same pictures on the wall, put his crib as close to the same place as we could, etc.

  • My grandson was 18 months old when we made a big move... we set his room up first, but bc it was on the
    second floor we would not leave him alone in it... we brought my MIL along and she kept him company while we
    moved and set the rest of the rooms up... I believe it works out a lot better when you can have someone you trust
    and the child adores, to take charge of the child while you move...
