  • He has a permanent SI joint dislocation, which means the joint where the spine and his pelvis meet is permanently dislocated. He gets pain so bad he vomits and ends up laid up in bed for days sometimes. It can be really tough to deal with. It's so hard watching someone you love so much suffer like that for so good reason. There's nothing they can do to fix it. The bones have worn down so much that if they reset it, it just goes back. They can't fuse the bones, either. So he's stuck meditating when it gets bad, which he HATES.
