  • Yes they are growing up too fast. But most of the time they don't have a choice because of society. Nowadays, a child gets a cell phone at like 6 when it used to be like 15! Thats how old I was when I got mine and I thought I was lucky because I was so young! And also these days when kids are growing up at the "used to be" rate they are considered stupid and over protected. "Innocent" no longer means what it used to.

  • They sure are..and *some* parents don't help that by pushing their kids to do more grown up things too early. Sad, but true.

  • Yes I do. I try to get mine outdoors even in the winter. They can last for an hour or more. It's not Canada I always say, but they never seem to mind the cold. They would play the wii all day if I let them.

  • Some kids are and some kids are really overprotected and not allowed to grow up much. My kids are in the middle. The only time they really get on the Wii is when it is COLD out. They do read a lot. They don't have a cell but 90% of their friends do (6th & 7th graders.)

  • Yes, and as a parent this scares me. Look at kids and puberty that alone tells you, they are starting earlier and earlier.

  • I think so too. Technology is taking over. People don't communicate face to face anymore. I'm scared for when my daughter gets older.

  • Yes,When I was younger my mother wouldn't let me wear anything on my face until I was at least 12 or 13 now kids are doing things early on like dressing provocative, smoking, sex, drinking , cellphones, drugs,.
