  • Call the pediatrician. the dosage for infant Tylenol is based on weight. I would post the guidelines here, but I think your ped should be the one to give you the info. If your baby has a fever or is in pain, you probably need to call anyway . . .

  • You should call your pediatrician and ask them for the dosage.

  • call your doctor or pharmacist for proper dosage. tylenol is fine, but from what our pedi told me, cold meds aren't safe for infants. hope your little one feels better!

  • http://www.askdrsears.com/html/8/t089101.asp Tylenol might make her feel a little better and will bring the fever down but at 3 mo., if you need tylenol, you should probably see the doctor as well.

  • You should take your baby to the Dr. IMO 3 months is too young for tylenol drops... If you have a nurse line in your area then you should call them. I use our local Childrens Hospital nurse line, so you could google the one in your area, or mearest major city, and get the number. They are usually open for calls until 11pm.

  • Three month olds should NOT take cold medications unless perscribed by a doctor. That is why the bottle doesn't give information for children under two, because it is not recommended to give children under two over the counter medications. Take your child to their pediatrician and if the doctor recommends or perscribes something then that's one thing. However, giving a home dose to a three month old isn't a good idea.

  • go see the doctor. they are the ones that know what infants that age should have and should have, that is why they practice in that area.

  • Tylenol doesn't do a thing for colds. It's for fevers and pain. Regardless of the medication you are going to use, at that age the dose MUST be given to you by the doctor. It varies based on weight. They'll probably want to see her before OKing any thing for a cold, just to make sure that's all it is, and if it IS just a cold, it's very likely they won't tell you to medicate.
