  • It is normal for a formula or breast fed baby to go up to 10 days without pooping. They are only constipated if it comes out hard and pebbly.

  • I used glycerine suposotories. Nothing enters baby's digestive system or blood stream. Usually works in about 15 minutes, and are very inexpensive at your local drug store.

  • If your baby is under 1 year, DO NOT give him honey! Honey has spores that can cause infant botulism. I don't know how old your baby is so this is my advice. If he's only drinking milk, give him some water, maybe an ounce or so, every couple of hours. If he's older and eating baby food, try a jar of prunes or a little fruit juice. If he's eating table food, try a kiwi. Nothing cleans my son out like a kiwi!

  • More breastmilk or formula, and less solids. Espcially cut back on cereal which binds.

  • I've heard brown sugar mixed with water works, but its not working for my daughter! and prune juice. We're trying the suppository tonight.
