Is it ok to legalize marriage between a person and their pet?

What if someone was madly in love with their dog? Should they not be allowed to marry? Is their love not valid just because it is not between 2 humans?

  • oh stop it. Being gay & in love with another person who is gay & wanting to marry them is NOT the same thing & you know it. you are disgusting equating the two things.

  • you cannot be serious. this is going back to legalizing gay marriage. no sane person wants to be with an animal. sane ppl do fall in love with other ppl, be they male or female.

  • Is this a serious question? I saw a show where a guy wanted to marry a doll. It was about his fear of abandonment and commitment. With the doll he had the perfect companion but still lonely becasue she didn't interact. I think the person wanting to marry the dog may need some counseling to realize that they need some other companions other than their pet and maybe will want to start a human relationship.
