Does anyone else understand why exactly bounty hunters are needed?

now i know what a bounty hunter is. they work for bail bondsman. the bondsman will pay an accused bail. the accused pays the bondsman %10 of the bail and must go to their court date. now if they skip the court date the bondsman will send a bounty hunter after them to bring them in. my question though is why are bounty hunters even needed. the police will be looking for them anyway if they skip court

  • well police men can be used for something better, and no police men aren't looking for bail jumpers. If they happen to pull on over and they see on their little computer, then they are caught. Other then that police men are out doing other things.
