  • shorthair is MUCH easier! but long fur is so cute!

i have a pomeranian & a pitbull. maintenance is sooo much easier on our pitty. it's just wash & dry. but with my long furred pom, i have to get the stuck poop off her butt fur during baths, and it takes forever to thoroughly brush the fur to prevent matting. and long fur picks up the morning dew on early potty breaks outside on the lawn, so after he potties, he comes back inside with his bottom half really wet.

  • I prefer long hair but I'm one of those nuts who actually likes all the manual labor for grooming. :)

  • Let's see~~we have both (a golden and a lab) and I'd have to say long. The lab's short fur is kinda everywhere but you just can't see it!
