Is it to early?

im getting bored waiting for my baby to come. i will be 33 weeks on friday. do you think its a good idea if i wash baby blankets this week newborn size clothes next week and size 0-3 weeks the next week and continue to wash different things everyweek or is it to early? any other ideas to keep me busy?

  • smile..its called nesting and it is what mommies do...get stuff ready and nest...you do what you feel needs to be done and enjoy...

  • That is a super idea! When we are waiting to give birth most women go through a nesting phase - just like a mamma bird gets her nest ready for her babies. So washing blankets and clothes will help you relax knowing you are doing all that you can do to prepare for your babies arrival - and keeps you busy too!!

  • Start now, sure!

    You can prepare for labor ( read, take a class, watch videos, hire birth doula).
    You can prepare for postpartum ( sign up for diaper service, go to La Leche meetings, stock the pantry with supplies, fill the freezer with easy meals, plan a Mother Blessingway)
    Write thank you notes.
    Make birth announcements.
    Pack for birth.
    Make a birth plan.
