  • I really need to start doing it again, I use to enforce it.

    Then I said once in a while we don't have too big mistake..

    Now they think they can eat all over my house, literally..
    I am with you, no more eating unless your at the table.

  • For the most part yes I do but occassionally I will let them have thier snack or drink somewhere else in the house

  • Yes. We ate in front of the TV for a long time, and we switched about 6 months ago. I like having the family time, and focusing on our food. Plus, I think it sends a better message to my son. We all sit at the table until everyone is done. It's a lesson in patience. It also helps for when we go to restaurants. He's 2, and he behaves himself very well (we also bring snacks and toys and stuff to color, etc).

  • Yes. The only exception is Family Movie Night on Fridays. They can have popcorn and snacks. Their drinks still have to stay in the kitchen or in the dining room.

  • Ido. But we have special nights where we have snacks (still no drinks, my kids are clumsy) in the living room together watching movies.

  • Yes. Food and drinks are only allowed in the kitchen and dining room.

  • yes, unless there are alot of people over and no room at the table (times like christmas lunch and easter). for a white i let my (now) three year old eat in the living room, but we are stopping that.

  • yes because of the mess they make especially the youngest . i do not know why a 8 year old does not know how to sit on her behind on a chair to eat she is either trying to stand or sitting sideways

  • Yes. My older ones are allowed to bring a cup of water in to the living room, but nothing else.
