Do you work best under pressure?

My son informed me his science project was due today, so got up early this morning and we banged it out, and it looks pretty good if I do say so myself. I seem to do this with work stuff too.

  • Oh, yes. That's why I work in news. Low pressure stuff bores me.

  • Normally, a science project is given out well in advance of the time it is due. If he had time, and didn't do it, I would let him suffer the consequences. I don't believe that it helps a student to do their work for them. What do they learn from that? Maybe I'm misreading this, and you simply helped him get materials to do it himself, but that's not what it sounds like.
