I need help! I had surgery a couple of days ago and I am trying to change the bandages

and the tape is trying to take my skin with it. It hurts really bad and they wrapped it half way around each leg. Does anyone have a trick to get it off easier? It is at the tender part of my inner upper thigh. :( The nurse I just called said to take a shower, but my release papers said not to take one for 72 hours. Thanks

  • Try wetting a washcloth and pressing that unto the tape . . . see if the wetness will help it disengage.
