  • why not? i wouldn't let my daughter get a face full of metal, but one or 2 facial piercings is fine

  • I dont see why not. It heals if she changes her mind.

  • I wouldn't . . . it can leave a permanant mark there. I would probably tell her not while she is in my house, but after she turns 18 and is on her own, she can do whatever she wants, and I won't get on her case about it.

  • I'd wait until she's 18 then let her do it. It's only one more year, and it's something she can do as an adult.

  • Personally, I don't see anything wrong with it. My dd is 14 and wants her lip done - if it was her nose, I'd probably have let her do it.... I'm not so keen on the lip but have said I'm willing to get her a non-pierced version.

My parents were NOT happy with my brother's ex-witch... I mean ex-wife *ahrm, sorry - lol* when she allowed my 17 yr old niece to get hers done but I just feel like if that's all she's doing what's the big deal. LOL They also didn't like it so much when I let my then 13 yr old dd get her bangs hot pink but it's just hair - it will grow out.

With the pierces, I'd encourage her to stay with small guage wire (which the nose usually is) that way if at some point, she doesn't want it anymore, evidence of it would be less obvious.

If my dh wouldn't stroke out, I'd pierce my nose. :)

  • I had mine done when I was 12, my whole family got it done (it was kinda cool then)....lol ! I would say depends on the parent, depends on the child.
