How can I delete a draft journal post?

I have some half-started journal posts from long ago that I'm never going to finish and never going to post. Is there a way to delete these from My Drafts?

  • Go to My Journal
Then select the Journal you want deleted.
You see there this ------- Author Controls: Delete this post Edit this post
    Click Delete this post.

  • Thanks for responding musicmom08. That works for one that you posted/published. But those controls don't exist for a draft. I guess I can publish it with "Just Me" as the setting on who can see it and then delete them that way. It's not a big issue, I know, but it's getting messy!

  • I think you just open is up as if you were going to "Finish" the draft and then delete from there

  • Yes, you are correct about the draft deletion way. Just have it viewed to Just Me and then deleted them. =]
