  • My son for sure. He has had several surgeries, MRSA, scarlet fever, horrible colds, pink eye....I never thought one child could actually catch so many things. It makes me a little depressed to think about how many things he actually has had.  We try very hard to be so healthy but school seems to be a human petri dish where all those nasty things continue to grow and latch on to him.  I love his school and he likes going - just wish we had a stronger immune system.

  • Probably about the same. I was only out if I was truly sick--the same with my son.

  • I do...and I can guarantee that my kids will graduate with less absences than me... I used to skip ...A LOT.

  • Me. I was always sick as a kid and when I was out it was for the entire week. I missed the max amount of days every year and in 10th grade I missed 3 weeks straight due to different illnesses that kept hitting me.
My kids are rarely ever sick. They haven't missed a day yet this year. Last year my 8yo missed 1 day. In the 3 years she's been in school she's missed 3 days I think (2 in K and 1 in 1st). My other kids have missed more spread out over all the years they've been in school. My son misses the most because of his migraines but still it's like maybe 4-5 days the entire year.

  • My kids, but only because I keep them out for vacations and stuff like that, so it's more than just when they're sick.
