Have you ever practiced a fire drill at your home with your family?

Do your children know what to do in case of a fire? (Granted they are old enough to understand) ~

  • Not with fires...my son is only 3.

we'll probably start with that soon.

He does know what to do in case one of us gets sick and doesn't get up though!

  • No. But that is yet another great idea. We live in a small mobile home, but if a fire breaks out, a plan will eliminate panic. With two small girls, that's crucial.

  • We have in previous homes. They know that if their door is hot then they need to open the window and get out. It is about a 5 foot drop out their window...not too bad. Wherever we have lived, the meeting place is always my car.
