  • Yes, I am already semi-retired, I get a retirement just in time for my Sons college education. That's the advantage of getting a good job when you are young. By the way, I am pregnant too! :)

  • No. We live paycheck to paycheck. DH just found a job after not having one for 7 months. Right now we are playing catch up. IF and WHEN I can find a job and we are able to then we will figure out what to do. WE dont even have a checking or savings account right now. His job doesnt offer anything that I am aware of for future planning so I would have to look into what to do and how to do it. We also need to get life insurance on ourselves and the children....but when u work a lousy job where u are barely making it u are only thinking about the NOW....I personally will worry about the future later...right now its about whats going on NOW.

  • We are trying to. My father left us a decent amount of life insurance money and it is sitting in my savings account. I am not ready to invest it. My father's 401k took a major hit in 2008.
