  • It is hard. I love food, too. BUT it is not healthy for you to weigh so much...

  • 100 pounds overweight is BAD news.... you may love food, but do you love living more?

Check out Weight Watchers or the South Beach Diet.

  • It is ok to love food and enjoy the experience, but you have to remember, food doesn't love us back. It is not ok to love to eat, or to eat because of emotions. You have to love exercise as much as you love food. Or in most cases, love exercise more, when you feel the urge to munch, go for a walk around the block (or 2 or 3 blocks), you will have burned calories and forgotten about wanting a snack and if you must snack, it should be something that grew on a tree, or out of the ground--not anything in a bag from a machine.

  • It's an addiction. But unlike those who are addicted to alcohol or drugs....we NEED food to survive. We can't not eat, like an alcoholic can't drink.

BUT if we learn to enjoy healthy foods, and learn to listen to our bodies signals that we are no longer hungry we CAN alter our perceptions and learn to adjust what we eat and how much we eat.

It's not easy, it's not meant to be. But ultimately we can prove to ourselves and others that it can be done and that we are strong human beings!

  • Look into Juice Plus. Our bodies crave more of what we give it, so increasing the amount of fruit and vegetables may help you want more. Weight loss is not always what we eat, but when we eat and portion size.

  • You can do it if you really want to, I think that the "want to" has to be there, as well as people in your life to encourage you and hold you accountable. It can be hard to have someone hold you accountable, but if there is someone you ask for help and don't want to let them down it can really help you stay motivated.

  • You have to WANT to lose it. May I suggest talking to someone (a counselor) about why you don't want to lose the weight? Seems there may be another issue that needs to be addressed first.
