Reduced price meats

If frozen, can the meats that are almost outdated be kept as long as other meats? Or does freezing it not make any difference? I'd like to save some money on my raw meats.. Any other tips for saving would be much appreciated. :)

  • Frozen meats can be kept passed the sell by date, as long as they are frozen before the sell by date. Frozen meat is usually good for 3-12 months depending on the type of meat.

  • I always get meat like that on sale and I stick it in the frezzer. I have never had a problem with it. I usually keep my frozen meats about 3-6 months.

  • Just freeze it before the date and you will be just fine.
