  • You should look at the originals. Get an old Grimms Fairy Tale book. It is outrageous.

  • becasue they are actually based on old folklore or an event in that era. Like, "ashes, ashes we alll fall down" was a game kids played during the black plague when people were dying in rapid numbers. You should look some of them up, it's very interesting (especially if you're a history fan).

  • Yeah really. Look at the movies too like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Alice in Wonderland, etc. Makes you wonder what we were really watching when we were kids & what our kids are watching now.
