  • Well for the most part, they certainly have the most disposable income, and are sure to get to the polls--since they haven't much else to do with their days!! :o)

WHAT? My 75 yo parents just finished an addition to a home they own at Lake Tahoe- they did all the work themselves. They volunteer, sit on heritage committees, maintain a huge garden with zero help, travel the planet and walk 3-5 miles a day, weather permitting. They can run circles around many half their ages- Wow, what an offensive conclusion.

  • But, the 'old people' paid into their social security with the expectation and promise they would receive it at retirement. It would be better to stop giving it to illegals, people who came into the country legally but have never paid into the system. Why have a social security number if you don't match it to the contributions made? Soc. Sec. shouldn't be a guarantee to every person just because you are a citizen. If you paid, if your number has an account with a credit balance, then you can draw money. If you never worked, have only lived on PA, then you don't get soc. sec. too. But the elderly that have worked and paid, it is their money to draw.
