At what age did your baby start playing peek-a-boo back at you?

When did he/she do it back at you? Like covering their own eyes with their hands?

  • My baby girl did around 12 months old. But all babies and toddlers are different.

  • I started playing "Peek-a-boo" with my son when he was 10-11 months old and he caught on right away. It wasn't a game he was really interested in until about that age. With my daughter I think it was maybe a little later. I'm not sure exactly with her. However, she too caught on right away.

  • She would cover and uncover at 11 months with a blanket. she started covering and uncovering with her hands at 13 months and saying boo!

  • I had to help her understand it, but my now almost two year old learned to say and play peek-a-boo with her hands when she turned a yr.
