  • Omg anon, me too it seems like somewhere around 2-5everyday my body goes into sleep mode but even if I don't take that nap I still can't sleep at night, sometimes I would drink cough syrup and that would knock me out, best sleep ever but I quit doing that.It didn't seem to healthy!

  • I haven't found anything that works either. I can never fall asleep, but once I do, it seems like I could sleep forever! I'm up until at least 4am every night, and I have to be up by 9 or so with the kids. It's starting to drive me nuts!

  • I have a hard time falling asleep also:( and right when ill barely close my eyes, I 'll hear "mommy" so thats it, I can't sleep. I can't swallow pills so I just have to try to sleep on my own.

  • hehe...it's 2:12 am, and I've been awake all but 2.5 hours of the last 48...does that answer your questions? :)
It's the worst when my husband isn't home (like now)...can't sleep without him any more. He's been gone 3 weeks, and I think I've slept a total of 60 hours.

  • oh! I forgot the what do I do about it part...well, I've tried everything but sleeping pills, which I won't take...did that once and felt drugged for 2 days. No thanks.
So lately I'm trying meditating. I'm not sleeping any better, but at least I feel more rested.

  • AAAHHH, DUH, I think is the answer for those of us who responded at 3am LOL!!! I am so tired by 7pm but kids are up at least until 8:30. we start our day at 6am and usually go until 8pm. I wake up around 2am and can't go back to sleep until 5 then I don't want to get up with the alarm at 6am. Here however is a peeve of mine. why is it so hard to get the kids up for school yet on the week-ends they have no problem waking up early for TV?????
