My month old son is having trouble doing #2 and been cryin alot. This started yesterday when he does go it really thick like plaito. Should i give him water for something i already tried the knee to chest thing and doesnt seem to work. Cant get him in the doctor until Monday.. So what are some other options, so my little man can go without hurtin..Answer Question

Karo is a botulism risk and can be deadly in infants. It is NEVER recommended for an infants use.
I agree with mompam it sounds more like gas then constipation. Have you tried baby massage?

Karo syrup is unlikely to contain botulism, but the reason doctors usually no longer recommend it is because it no longer contains the same chemical composition that it contained so many years ago when it was recommended and most likely will not do the same thing. ( this is what I was told last year by my pediatrician )
Have you tried putting him in a warm bath and massaging the abdomen? That might help.
