Sleep sweating in a 2 year old normal?

She will sometimes wake up with wet hair she sweats so much. It's not too hot in her room, we don't dress her too warmly... she will just get up almost drenched in sweat.

Normal? Or should I ask her doctor?

  • My daughter was never like that but man, my son can sweat like you wouldn't believe! We started putting him to bed in his little boxers and that's it. He likes to initially fall asleep with his comforter on (security reasons I guess?) but I try and make it a habit to sneak in there and pull it off once he's asleep so that he just has his sheets. He will be 2 in April

  • I have 3 kids who are big sweaters. My two boys who do this are just hot natured. They sweat to where their hair is wet all the time, even in the winter. Our doctor said some people are just that way.

  • My son was like that. Some time he sweat so bad the whole bed would be wet.
