  • My son's best friend lost his father in the pentagon. We live in Maryland, less than an hour from DC. His mommy was 7 months pregnant with his baby sister. What a terrible day. It still makes me sad to think bout it

  • Losing an uncle now from all the particles that were in the air from digging for survivors even with the masks he wore the entire time he was there. He's 50 years old and his lungs are failing.

  • I lost a long time family friend....Firefighter Michael Boyle of Engine 33 in Manhattan. He had just finished a double shift when the first plane hit, and was heading home to his fiance, when the firts plane flew right over his head and struck the WTC. Mike turned around, went back to the station and suited up. He was still evacuating people when tower 2 fell. His remains were the last to be found of the 343 firefighters who lost their lives that day--6 months later. He came from a family of firefighters.
