Using travelocity top secret hotels

ok so we're sitting here tonight trying to book a hotel in myrtle beach sc, for our honeymoon....we're planning on doing a lot of sight seeing and spending time at the beach, etc...but looking at travelocity they offer a top secret hotel thing that you dont find out all the info about the specific hotel until after you book....Im curious if anyone has ever tried that? We dont want a dirt cheap place, but also dont want to spend all our trip money on the hotel alone....any input would be great!! Thanks, Katie

  • I've never gone through Travelocity but I've done the Name Your Own Price on Priceline. It works pretty well because you name your own price for 3 or 4 star hotels. We always end up in a nice hotel.
