Brushing Teeth???

I'm getting conflicted answers.... Help me out! At what age should we start brushing our kids teeth?? I know the first rule is non-flouride toothpaste until they can spit it out themselves. My daughter is 13-months and I have been brushing her 4 little teeth for about 6-months now. Also, when are they supposed to see the dentist for the first time?? Some people are telling me at ONE and some are telling me not until they are THREE. HELP.

  • When they are infants, you should wipe their gums with a soft cloth twice a day.
When they get teeth, you should brush their teeth twice a day.
At 18 months, they should start having dental visits every six months.
