How do i get my youngest to go #2 in the potty?

Jess has this funny tradition when she needs to go #2; she puts on a pull up (most of the time she does this on her own.), then goes and hides behind our curtains in the living room. She pulls the curtain around her like she is in a large circular shower curtain; then she can go. She insists that she can not go on the potty and screams when we talk to her and try to change her method ....at the beginning it was cute, she is getting near the age where she needs to start pre-k at church and she needs to be 100% potty trained. Any suggestions?

  • Try making poop out of playdoh or clay and having play time where teddy or dolly poops on the potty. You might ask her where teddy would like to put the potty - behind a closed door, inside a curtain, etc.
