What are good tips to have more patience with my 5 yr old?

  • First remember they are only 5. Second keep them busy. I found if I kept mine busy they were tired and wouldnt fuss as much out of boredom. Do things with them. Talk to them, itll be an interesting conversation lol. Take deep breaths when they misbehave before doling out any punishment. I usually take 5, then react.

  • Always keep in mind they are just children, if you find yourself loosing patients walk away till you calm down then sit with them and talk, they are children but they still need to be talked to, and yhes KEEP THEM BUSY! Pratice with writing letters and short words, reading small words, drawing things activity books ect.
