  • For my $85 bill, I normally leave a $10-$15 tip.

  • If I really wasn't thrilled with the cut, I would give $10, though 15% is $12.75. If I really liked it, I would give $15.

  • its not a lot of money at all! you pay for good service be a professional who spent 11k give or take for there education, not to mention advanced courses, price of the product used and so on.lets break it down:

lets say it's an hour appointment, just an all over color (darker or staying the same level). (give or take 20 mins) (prices may vary, this is just average) price of color box $5.00, (most times to formulate a color more than one color is used) so now we are at about $10. developer is around $5.. so we are at $15.. Include the shampoo, conditioner, water usage, price of the cut and blow dry that is included (thats about $20) so lets say we are at 50.. now lets include what we use on your hair to blow it out... theres about 3 so 53. oh, then we have booth rent to pay, or part is toward rent/lease/mortgage.. electric, laundry.... so really when we are done it's more like 70.. ...
