Should I be worried if my son drinks/pees a lot?

I mean, it's getting to be REALLY excessive. He's 4 and I'm worried about him.

  • I agree that you should make an appt for him. That is one of the warning signs for diabetes.

  • It depends on what he is drinking. If its water, then I don't think its such a big deal. If its sugary juice or soda, then you might have somethin to worry about. If you are truely concerned, because I do think that excessive thirst can be a symptom of diabetes, get him a physical, get some blood work done, and ask the doctor. Good luck.

  • Awesome. (I'm being sarcastic, of course.) That would suck so incredibly much!

  • It could be nothing but it could be something. Best thing is for him to seen by a dr just in case. Hope everything turns out ok.

  • He doesn't drink soda at all, he says it burns his throat, and I'm so grateful!

He does have juice sometimes but he actually likes it watered down or he'll choose milk or water.
