  • To be "on a soapbox" means to be speaking passionately about a certain topic. I believe it came from back in the day when there were no televisions and radio advertisements, and the best way to get your message out there was to stand on a soap box and preach on.

  • ok.. to get off your soap box... it means there going to stop preaching what they think!!!!!!((( basically its a person who just tells you over and over again what they think!!!
