Dry clean only

my 3 year old has the viral doom that is going around our area and he has begun to vomit. he vomited on my dry clean only bed spread... Now i am fully aware that i am an idiot for getting a dry clean only bed spread... lol. not the question here. what i would like to know has anyone been in this situation?

has anyone washed a dry clean only item? my blanket is soaked in pediasure...

  • if it says dry clean only then that is what I would have done and maybe after it has been cleaned put another blanket on top of it that is machine washable till he is better

  • I would just take it to be dry cleaned. You would not want to ruin it.

  • sorry guys.. yea a few days Later. I did wash it. it was soaked in chocolate pediasure... it was so bad. i washed the blanket and it did live
